A class group chat
You cannot find the homework the teacher posted online. Your class group chat is active.
What could you send?
Three things you could say. None of them is the one right answer; each note says why it fits the moment, or why it may not.
Does anyone have the link to the history homework? I cannot find it.
A strong fit
It names the subject and what you need. Someone can paste it in seconds.
Is there history homework?
Also works here
This checks whether it exists. You may still need to ask for the link.
Watch the chat and hope someone mentions it.
Worth a second look
You can. It may never come up, and the homework is still due.
What people here usually expect
- Asking a class chat for a link is common. Most people have asked at some point.
- Naming the subject gets a faster answer than "the homework".
- One message is enough. You do not need to explain why you missed it.
Your words
Write one message to a class chat asking for a link you cannot find.
In the app you write one line here and it lands in your lines. Nothing is graded.
The move this moment practises: Ask for help.
