I said hi, but the person did not say hi back.. Read it together, at your pace. Every page is written in your child's voice.

3. But there are many possible reasons.
Why might someone not say hello?
They did not hear me or see me.
They are thinking hard about something else.
They are having a hard day.
We do not have enough information to know.
💡 There can be lots of reasons someone does not say hello. We cannot know what they are thinking without more information. One missed hello is not proof of anything.
4. I can choose what to do. I can try again later. I can wave next time. I can let it go and keep enjoying my day.
