When Someone Doesn't Answer

1. Sometimes I say something and nobody answers. The silence can feel strange.

2. Silence has many causes.

Why might someone not answer?

They did not hear me.
They are deep in their own thoughts.
They are still thinking about what to say.
We don't know yet — and that's okay.

💡 No answer does not equal no like. There are always several possible reasons.

3. I can try again a little louder or closer: "Hey, did you hear me?" Or I can let it go and try later.

4. I try once more.

5. Either way, the silent moment passes. It was one small moment, not a message about me. And now it is over.
