Sharing the Tablet

We both want the tablet, and there is only one.. Read it together, at your pace. Every page is written in your child's voice.

1. At my house, the tablet gets shared. Sometimes I want it exactly when someone else has it.
2. Waiting for a turn on the tablet is real waiting. I can see it. I know what I want to play. And it is not my turn yet.
3. Turns work best with a clear plan. A timer helps a lot. When the timer rings, the turn switches. The timer is the boss, not either of us.
4. While I wait, I have choices.
set the timer so I know exactly when my turn startsdo something else where I cannot see the screenplan what I will play when it is my turnask a grown-up to help us make a fair turn plan
5. I can ask for my turn with clear words.
6. When my turn ends, handing the tablet over is hard for exactly one moment. Then it is done, and my next turn is already on its way. Turns go around and around, and everyone gets theirs.
