Being a guest in another family's home. Read it together, at your pace. Every page is written in your child's voice.
1. Today we are visiting someone's house. When I am at another family's home, I am a guest.
2. Their house is different from mine. Different smells, different toys, different rules. I can ask about their rules โ asking is what good guests do.
Their house might have a pet, different food smells, or louder or quieter rooms than mine.

3. Before I use their things, I ask first. "Can I play with this?" Asking keeps their things safe and shows respect. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes no.
4. I can practice asking with Spark. Spark will be the person who lives there.
5. I have choices. I can choose what to play from the yes-things. I can take a quiet break if the visit feels long. I can whisper to my grown-up, "How much longer are we staying?"
6. When it is time to go, we help pick up anything we played with. We say "thank you for having us." Then we head home. The visit is over, and I was a good guest.
In the app, your child can choose what happens next, rehearse lines out loud with Spark, and try different endings โ including hearing a kind "no" and being celebrated for respecting it. Parents can also create fully personalized stories.
