Something wonderful is happening and my excitement is loud.. Read it together, at your pace. Every page is written in your child's voice.
1. Sometimes something wonderful happens. I feel excited!
2. Excited can be big and loud. I might want to jump. I might want to flap or spin or shout.
A zoomy body, a happy buzz, energy everywhere.
3. Big feelings can be loud. That is okay. Jumping and flapping are ways my body celebrates.
4. Some places have room for my big excitement. Outside has lots of room. My room has room too.
5. In some places, other people are working or resting. I can choose how to celebrate there. I can wiggle my fingers. I can whisper my happy news. I can save my jumps for later.
6. I can share my excitement with words too. I can say, "Guess what! Something great happened!"
7. Excited is a happy visitor. It bubbles up, and then it settles. My happy news is still mine, even when my body gets quiet.
In the app, your child can choose what happens next, rehearse lines out loud with Spark, and try different endings — including hearing a kind "no" and being celebrated for respecting it. Parents can also create fully personalized stories.
