My first time at a new activity with a new group. Read it together, at your pace. Every page is written in your child's voice.
1. Today is my first day at a new club. It might be art, chess, soccer, or music. First days are for finding out how things work.
2. When I arrive, a leader says hello. There are kids I do not know yet. Everyone was new here once.
A new room can be loud with voices. There may be new smells, like paint or gym mats.

3. The leader explains the plan. Most clubs have an order: gather, do the activity, clean up, go home. Once I know the order, next time feels easier.
4. I have choices. I can ask, "What do we do first?" I can choose a spot near the edge or in the middle. I can watch a round before I join.
5. I can practice with Spark. Spark will be the club leader.
6. Talking to new kids can start tiny. I can say "hi" or "can I play too?" If I am not ready, I can just play alongside. Both are fine first steps.
7. When club time is over, the leader says it is time to clean up and go. My grown-up picks me up or walks me home. The first day is done — and next time, the room will not be new anymore.
In the app, your child can choose what happens next, rehearse lines out loud with Spark, and try different endings — including hearing a kind "no" and being celebrated for respecting it. Parents can also create fully personalized stories.
