take slow breaths hold something small in my pocket stay close to my teacher ask an adult for help
3. I can bring my backpack. I can find my classroom. A teacher will show me where to go.
4. I might feel excited. I might feel nervous. I can feel both at the same time.
5. When I walk in, my teacher will say hello.
What could happen next? The teacher shows me my seat. A kid says hi to me. Everyone is busy for a bit. We don't know yet โ and that's okay. ๐ก Lots of different things can happen on a first day. All of them are okay, and I can ask my teacher anything.
6. If I feel lost, I can ask an adult. Asking for help is a strong thing to do.
7. At the end of the day, the bell rings. My grown-up picks me up or I ride home. My first day is done. I did it!
